With foliage that grows to about 2' tall and spanning 1-2’, the blooms of the Honorine Jobert Japanese Anemone shoot upwards of 5' tall! These white flowers are accented with bright yellow stamens and are held up by thick stems that allow them to sway in a delicate breeze. This hybrid Anemone have one of the longest lasting blooms in the garden, offering weeks of visual bliss from late summer through fall!

Discovered in Verdun, France in 1858 by nurseryman M. Jobert, who named this perennial after his daughter Honorine, this variety earned the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society.

The Honorine Jobert Japanese Anemone is low maintenance, offers resistance to diseases and insects, is tolerant of deer and rabbits, and happily finds itself home in many locations due to its adaptability. Living happily when planted in areas that promote rich, moist, well-draining soils, this perennial is also capable of growing in clay soils. As an added bonus the Honorine Jobert Japanese Anemone can even be grown in containers granting even more possible locations for you to display these blooms!

How To Water

After planting, you should water your Honorine Jobert Japanese Anemone at a minimum of twice a week until established. Once established, keep an eye on the soil to be sure not to allow it get too dry, these plants like it moist but not saturated.
