More on the Bower & Branch Design Studio Process
Our design process has been developed alongside dozens of industry experts and thousands of homeowners who have partnered with Bower & Branch. For more information on what to expect, explore the following steps:
- Build Your Design Profile: To kick off your project, you will answer a series of prompts and follow the instructions to build your design profile in a way that we’ve found is most useful to our designers. This includes completing a questionnaire (Space Assessment), uploading photos and submitting measurements of your site. We will provide you with tips and guidance along the way.
- Book Your Consult: Once your profile is complete, you will be paired with a designer who best fits the scope and location of your project. This typically takes 1-3 business days but may take longer depending on the time of year and designer availability. Once you’ve received your match, you will be invited to book your 30 minute consultation which will take place over FaceTime, Zoom or another video chat app.
- Meet With Your Designer: Your designer will call you at your scheduled time to conduct your video call. You will then show them around your yard explaining core pain points and priorities - think of it as a virtual site visit. Here are some tips on how to work with your designer.
- Approve Your Basemap and Scope: Before they begin designing, your designer will share with you a basemap and scope alignment document to ensure they understand your existing site conditions and priorities for the final design. These two items will inform the direction and vision of your plan and are important steps that can limit time and money spent on revisions (one revision is included). - Design in Progress: Without a doubt, this is the hardest part for homeowners…waiting! While your designer is hard at work, we offer some helpful articles and tips for planning your installation and sourcing your trees and plants through us. The design itself can take 2-3 weeks depending on what was included in your package.
- Review Your Design: When your design is delivered, you will have 45 days to review the plans and request revisions from your designer. If you would like to purchase additional revisions beyond the first round, we are happy to provide pricing based on the scope of your request.
- Order Your Trees & Plants: When your design is finalized you can get a quote to purchase your trees and plants from Bower & Branch. We can coordinate a curbside delivery date that is convenient for you. In certain markets, we also provide planting services.
