Preparing For Your Video Consult

Once you’ve scheduled your design consultation, you should receive a meeting invite confirming the date and time. When it is time for your meeting, be prepared to receive a phone call from your designer. 

Before your call:

• Think through the top priorities and goals for your yard
• Look for any problem areas you want to discuss
• Be prepared to describe your ideal style and aesthetic (colors, materials, etc.)
• Align with your spouse or anyone else who will have input on the final design

During the call:

• Conduct the call in your yard and think of it as a virtual site visit
• Take your time to really talk through your priorities 
• Show your designer some of the more difficult areas in your yard
• Invite your spouse so they can participate as well
• Explain how you are thinking about the budget
