Why plant Fall Gold Raspberry?

Raspberries add happiness to every moment; breakfast, summertime snacks, and family picnics! Their little bite-sized candy, so sweet you don’t even realize how good they are for you! Fall Gold Raspberries are unique in their pale yellow color, as if to have been soaked in sunshine. Delicious flavor, everbearing, and a hardy grower - plant Fall Gold Raspberries this spring for a mouth full of berries and leftovers for jam!

How to use Fall Gold Raspberry in the landscape?

You’ll need sunglasses when harvesting Fall Gold’s raspberries. These bright yellow berries are a bright force in your garden, lightening up darker areas and providing a tasty snack as well! This thorny raspberry bush starts the growing season with clumps of bright white flowers, similar in appearance to roses, then finishes up with two crops of berries: one in early spring, the other in late summer. Fall Gold berries are great for eating fresh, or add them into pies and even preserves!

Planting Zones

Hardiness Zone: 5-8

How To Plant Fall Gold Raspberry

Raspberries thrive best in soil with mildly acidic conditions that are rich in organics, moist, and well-draining. Full sun is best; however, raspberries do tolerate part shade; fruit crops may be less plentiful when plants are exposed to shade. Canes that have fruited should be pruned back and removed; new canes will grow back and produce fruit. Suckers may develop roots if not pruned back to prevent further growth. Raspberries are self-fertile and do not require another variety to cross-pollinate.

How To Fertilize

Incorporate Elements Starter Plant food granular form into the soil when planting. If planting in spring or summer, start fertilizing late fall using Elements Starter Plant food granular form on an annual basis each late fall. Continue this for the first three years to get your plant well established.
