    Why Plant Drift® Red Rose?

Abundance of long-lasting blooms, vivid color, and stronger than ever - stop and smell these roses! Drift® Red Rose will become your new garden favorite, and you won’t be able to plant just one. This cardinal red stunner is a piece of art in your garden blooming from early summer all the way up until frost! This hardworking ground cover will set your garden ablaze in its compact size and brilliant scarlet color. Those flowers are tougher than they look; they are winter-hardy, heat-tolerant, and disease resistant. Refresh your garden borders, patio containers, and rock beds in cheery red. Even the butterflies agree with your choice; they can’t get enough of them too! Brighten up your landscape this year with Drift® Red Rose, and even cut a few from some in-home decorations!

Drift® Roses are cross between full-size groundcover roses and miniature roses, receiving the best qualities from each cultivar! From the full-sized flowers is where their disease-resistant and hardiness qualities came from. Then from the miniatures, they inherited their charming size and long blooming season.

How to use Drift® Red Rose in the landscape?

Growing the wonderful pint-size of 1.5 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide, Drift® Roses are self-cleaning (they do all the work for you!). This makes deadheading an easy task you don’t need to worry about! There may be a few here and there you have to cut off, but mainly it does it all on its own.

How To Plant Drift® Red Rose

Drift® Roses love the sun, and they’re happiest if they could receive six hours of it a day. It is recommended to keep a layer of mulch around the roots to help retain moisture as they like to be watered regularly. If you choose to plant these beauties in a container make sure it is a pot with good drainage quality and healthy soil. Drift® Roses enjoy a little fertilizer to feed the soul.

    How To Water

Water your Drift® Red Rose a few times a week and really soak the soil, but be careful not to overwater your plant.

    How To Fertilize

Use our Elements Starter Plant Food to feed the Drift® Red Roses after the roses are established and go through one bloom cycle.

    How To Prune

Prune your roses in very early spring once you see signs of new growth emerging. You can cut your rose back by one half to two thirds of the total size of your plant. Expect your rose to almost triple in size in the coming months.

    How Does Shipping Work?

*For Big trees and Shrubs, Size XL and bigger: Review our Seasonal Shipping Timelines and Policy here.

Your trees and plants are grown across the United States at various Bower & Branch Growers. Depending on your location, your plant orders may be shipped from various locations. Please expect orders with multiple items to be delivered over a number of days as a result. Orders made up of numerous items or selections will not arrive at your home on the same day.

    Shipping Delays:

From time to time, Bower & Branch Growers may determine to delay order shipment based on various factors for plant health. Weather in your region, as well as, where your plants are grown, is always considered when shipping. Extreme weather conditions may delay some or all of your order. Bower & Branch allows our Growers to make final shipping decisions based solely to benefit your trees and plants’ health and success.

    How Does Sizing Work?

The size of our trees have nothing to do with the container size like you may find elsewhere–big doesn't mean just height - it’s also vigor, age, and overall health. Other online retailers are going to tell you that a plant is a seven gallon, that means nothing to your tree or plant (or you.)

Our trees for sale online are graded on large, x-large, and even bigger sizes. This is because our trees are sized by their age—the higher the letter, the more mature the tree. The age determines the trees’ overall height, size of the trunk and the overall branch density.

All of these characteristics are what you should be looking for when choosing a tree for immediate impact and instant curb appeal. Our extra-large tree and plant sizes are sure to wow you and your neighbors!
