A simple perennial that enjoys locations that provide moist well-draining soils, including the adaptability to thrive in either acidic, alkaline, or neutral soils. Along with drought the Purity Candytuft is also tolerant to deer and rabbits allowing this beauty to go undisturbed in the garden. You should look for a location that offers full sun, however these perennials are capable of living in areas that provide partial shade. Simple pruning to maintain shape and promote better growth may be done in early spring or if you are looking to attempt to achieve a second blooming once the blooms are spent.

How To Water

Although the Purity Candytuft does provide some drought tolerance once established we recommend maintaining a watering schedule as to not hinder the growth of your perennial. When first planted we recommend watering a minimum of twice a week until established. Once established you may reduce the amount of watering done, however always make sure to check the soil and water when necessary. Keep an eye on local weather conditions and water during periods of inclement weather such as high heat and or drought.

How To Fertilize

The Purity Candytuft is not a heavy feeder, however promoting the health and blooming of your perennial can simply be achieved by fertilizing in spring. This process is simple. Start by adding fertilizer to the planting site, this will initiate the first feeding your plant will receive. How To Prune
