Why plant Drift® Sweet Rose?

You may just fall head over heels for Drift® Sweet Rose, and I don’t blame you! Cover your landscape with abundant clusters of vibrant pink blooms lasting from spring all the way through fall! Ready for this? Each flower produces 30-35 extraordinary petals! Their compact size is perfect for any size garden or patio container display. You’ll have the neighbors coming over just to admire those roses bursting in color against the elegant green foliage. Sweet fuchsia blooms are vigorous, hardy growers, and disease-resistant too! You might want to stop and smell these roses; we are all about to be a bit obsessed with Drift® Sweet Roses!

Drift® Roses are cross between full-size groundcover roses and miniature roses, receiving the best qualities from each cultivar! From the full-sized flowers is where their disease-resistant and hardiness qualities came from. Then from the miniatures, they inherited their charming size and long blooming season.

How to use Drift® Sweet Rose in the landscape?

Growing the wonderful pint-size of 1.5 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide, Drift® Roses are self-cleaning (they do all the work for you!). This makes deadheading an easy task you don’t need to worry about! There may be a few here and there you have to cut off, but mainly it does it all on its own.

How To Plant Drift® Sweet Rose

Drift® Roses love the sun, and they’re happiest if they could receive six hours of it a day. It is recommended to keep a layer of mulch around the roots to help retain moisture as they like to be watered regularly. If you choose to plant these beauties in a container make sure it is a pot with good drainage quality and healthy soil. Drift® Roses enjoy a little fertilizer to feed the soul.

How To Water

Water your Drift® Sweet Rose a few times a week and really soak the soil, but be careful not to overwater your plant.

How To Fertilize

Use our Elements Starter Plant Food to feed the Drift® Sweet Roses after the roses are established and go through one bloom cycle.

How To Prune

Prune your roses in very early spring once you see signs of new growth emerging. You can cut your rose back by one half to two thirds of the total size of your plant. Expect your rose to almost triple in size in the coming months.
