Why plant Drift® Apricot Rose?
Roses that fit all garden sizes! Drift® Apricot Rose are charming compact roses in frilly double peachy blooms. The romantic petals are bursting in layers, much like English Garden Roses. Cover your garden beds, patio containers, and walkways in luscious apricot blooms and gorgeous dark glossy green foliage. Multiple seasons of spectacular color, blooming from early summer all the way through to fall! These low-maintenance vigorous spirits are tougher than they look and have excellent disease-resistant qualities. Flowers that turn your backyard into a fairytale, it's almost as if they are singing a sweet melody! Even the butterflies are infatuated with Drift® Apricot Rose too!
Drift® Roses are cross between full-size groundcover roses and miniature roses, receiving the best qualities from each cultivar! From the full-sized flowers is where their disease-resistant and hardiness qualities came from. Then from the miniatures, they inherited their charming size and long blooming season.
How to use Drift® Apricot Rose in the landscape?
Growing the wonderful pint-size of 1.5 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide, Drift® Roses are self-cleaning (they do all the work for you!). This makes deadheading an easy task you don’t need to worry about! There may be a few here and there you have to cut off, but mainly it does it all on its own.

How To Plant Drift® Apricot Rose
Drift® Roses love the sun, and they’re happiest if they could receive six hours of it a day. It is recommended to keep a layer of mulch around the roots to help retain moisture as they like to be watered regularly. If you choose to plant these beauties in a container make sure it is a pot with good drainage quality and healthy soil. Drift® Roses enjoy a little fertilizer to feed the soul.
How To Water
Water twice weekly for the first 3-5 weeks; then water weekly for the remainder of the year until winter. When you water, water very slowly and very thoroughly. The water needs to reach to the bottom of the root ball and that takes time. Watering needs may be altered due to extreme weather conditions.
How To Fertilize
Incorporate Elements Starter Plant food granular form into the soil when planting. If planting in spring or summer start fertilizing late fall using Elements Starter Plant food granular form on an annual basis each late year. Continue this for three years to get your plant well established.
How To Prune
Prune your roses in very early spring once you see signs of new growth emerging. You can cut your rose back by one half to two thirds of the total size of your plant. Expect your rose to almost triple in size in the coming months.
