Why plant Drift® Popcorn Rose?
When you're at the movie theatre, and they ask if you want extra butter...you always say yes! Drift® Popcorn Rose will look so good in your garden beds; you'll want to eat em' up! Creamy rose blooms unfold from a faint buttery yellow to a soft white all summer long! This impressive flowering ground cover is hard to beat with its inviting presence and hardy growth; you won't be able to plant just one! Blanket your garden in cheery Drift® Popcorn Rose and watch them snap, crackle, and pop open!
Drift® Roses are cross between full-size groundcover roses and miniature roses, receiving the best qualities from each cultivar! From the full-sized flowers is where their disease-resistant and hardiness qualities came from. Then from the miniatures, they inherited their charming size and long blooming season.
How to use Drift® Popcorn Rose in the landscape?
Growing the wonderful pint-size of 1.5 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide, Drift® Roses are self-cleaning (they do all the work for you!). This makes deadheading an easy task you don’t need to worry about! There may be a few here and there you have to cut off, but mainly it does it all on its own.

How To Plant Drift® Popcorn Rose
Drift® Roses love the sun, and they’re happiest if they could receive six hours of it a day. It is recommended to keep a layer of mulch around the roots to help retain moisture as they like to be watered regularly. If you choose to plant these beauties in a container make sure it is a pot with good drainage quality and healthy soil. Drift® Roses enjoy a little fertilizer to feed the soul.
How To Water
If the soil of your Popcorn Rose is dry than give your plant a good drink of water until you see the water escaping the drainage holes.
How To Fertilize
Use our Elements Starter Plant Food to feed the Drift® Popcorn Roses after the roses are established and go through one bloom cycle.
How To Prune
Prune your roses in very early spring once you see signs of new growth emerging. You can cut your rose back by one half to two thirds of the total size of your plant. Expect your rose to almost triple in size in the coming months.
