Why plant Rainbow Fizz™ Spirea?
Delight your landscape with the radiant color show that is the Rainbow Fizz™ Spirea! Bringing on an array of colors throughout the seasons, this compact shrub is sure to fit perfectly wherever you have an open space in your landscape. Bronzy red foliage arrives in early spring, transforming into a sunny gold for the duration of summer. Along with summer comes an incredible array of flowers that cluster into shades of pink. Fall will bring that beautiful bronzy red back to the shrub where it will stick around until the first frost of the season. Don't be surprised if you see a variety of insects flying above this gorgeous shrub, as the fizzy flowers are uber attractive! Providing nutrients through its sweet nectar, you'll see butterflies, bees, and even songbirds!
Spirea varieties are common within the U.S. and have been cultivated due to their dynamic color variations and the low-maintenance that they require! The Rainbow Fizz™ fits right in as it has been sought after by pollinator gardeners for years!
How to use Rainbow Fizz™ Spirea in the landscape?
As a low growing, easy to maintain shrub, the Rainbow Fizz™ Spirea can be planted almost anywhere you desire! Plant around a flagpole in a sunny location, or add this to your smaller garden space as an accent to surrounding greenery!

How To Plant Rainbow Fizz™ Spirea
This easy to grow spirea can handle just about anything you throw at it other than shade or wet soil. Don't be concerned about pruning, in fact some people periodically cut theirs to the ground to rejuvenate the plant.
How To Water
After planting your Rainbow Fizz™ you should water very thoroughly and keep an eye for the following weeks. You'll want to give a good soaking once a week during the summer unless you can rely on rainfall. Once your Spirea is established you can generally lessen your watering amount.
How To Fertilize
Established Spirea's prefer when a light fertilizer is used. Our Elements Starter Plant Food is perfect for this type of plant! Sprinkle some of our granular plant food after planting and you won't have to again till next year!
How To Prune
Prune or shear your spirea in late winter or early spring as the new growth starts to emerge. A light shearing after the first wave of flowers will encourage more flowers.
