Why plant Snowmound Spirea?
Snowmound Spireas are dwarf, ornamental shrubs that have lots of wonderful features. In mid to late spring spectacular clusters of pure white flowers decorate the branches. Gathered together in small corymbs small bouquets of blossoms will cover the arching stems in the late spring. These plants really live up to their name as their flowers pile up on the branches as if snow would on a mound. Butterflies and other pollinators love the taste of these white shrubs.
How to use Snowmound Spirea in the landscape?
Plant a row of Snowmound Spireas along a fence for decorative shrub borders or use as a foundation planting. Include these plants in mixed plantings as they add a contrast of graceful, arching branches with other growth habits.

How To Plant Snowmound Spirea
When planting the Snowmound Spirea, place them in an area with full sun and well-draining soil.
How To Water
Water thoroughly after planting. Give a good soaking once a week during the summer, unless rainfall is plentiful. Established plants should get less water.

How To Prune
Prune or shear your Spirea in late winter or early spring as the new growth starts to emerge. A light shearing after the first wave of flowers will encourage more flowers.
