How To Plant Electric Love® Weigela
Electric Love® Weigela is simple to grow - simply give it a fair amount of sun, some average, well draining soil and let it grow!
How To Water
When freshly planted and during the first year, be diligent in your watering practices. Electric Love® doesn't like soggy soil but it does like a good drink of water when the soil dries out.
How To Fertilize
With its compact growth habit, fertilizing needs are minimal, but once a year in early spring, be sure to feed your plant with the Bower & Branch Elements Plant Food to be sure it is receiving plenty of nutrients!
How To Prune
The Electric Love® has a well behaved habit so pruning needs will be minimal. The best time to do so would be in late spring, after flowering. An added bonus is that this will also encourage reblooming!
