I’m grateful for the 3 year guarantee as I ordered this tree (Ivory Spear Crabapple) late in the season. I wouldn’t normally plant this late in the year, but I was concerned it wouldn’t be available next spring. It lost all its leaves within a week. Fingers crossed. I was surprised the tree was balled & burlapped, as I had inquired about this before ordering and was told it would be a container grown tree. This was a new planting experience for me. I removed the burlap and wire cage. It’s November, so I’ll have to wait until spring to see if it makes it through the winter.

We truly apologize for any confusion about the root style; for larger trees in this variety, at this time of year, balled-and-burlapped is often what’s available, but that should have been clearer upfront. Hard to write a review for plant insurance when tree just in the ground. Hope I never need it, but if I do I’ll be pleased with any replacement!
