How To Plant Goldrush® Apple Bare Root

The Goldrush® Apple Tree is not self-fertile, meaning that it will require another pollinator around like Red Fuji or Enterprise, or a Crabapple, like Prairie Fire or Louisa, nearby. Plant your tree in a sunny, open, well-drained site and water regularly. As far as Apple Trees go, Goldrush® is fairly easy to grow and reliably produces heavy crops, although it is somewhat susceptible to common Apple disease Cedar Apple rust, so Goldrush® should not be planted near any juniper trees. Diseases can be managed in a variety of ways.

How To Water

Watering once every 7-10 days should be suffice.

How To Fertilize

Apple trees should be fertilized in spring before June 1st. We recommend using our Elements Starter Plant Food.
