How To Plant Jury's Yellow Camellia
When planting Camellias keep in mind they are slightly fragile shrubs. Make sure to provide shelter from cold and dry winds as buds and flowers can be damaged by cold winds. Jury's Yellow Camellias also need to be protected from early morning bright sun and from direct hot summer afternoon sun. They will thrive under full sun with partial shade. These plants are best grown in consistently moist, acidic, organically rich, well-drained soil. Common insects can be a potential threat. Other than these precautions, Camellias are rather care-free when planted in a well picked plot.
How To Water
In your Jury's Yellow Camellia's first year of growth, keep the soil moist about 2-3 inches down. After that, regular cycles of rainfall will be sufficient for your plant. Continue this for the first three years to get your plant well established as it gives your tree the nutrients it needs to produce lush new growth for the following spring.

Camellias don't require much pruning due to their unwavering natural beauty! The plant will need some moderate pruning by removing any dead and broken branches, usually during the mid-summer.

The size of our trees have nothing to do with the container size like you may find elsewhere–big doesn't mean just height - it’s also vigor, age, and overall health. Other online retailers are going to tell you that a plant is a seven gallon, that means nothing to your tree or plant (or you.)
