Why plant Pinky Winky® Hydrangea in Bulk?
In a wink the Pinky Winky® Hydrangea will flood your garden with dark pink flower clouds! In the spring, this plant shows off its wonderful looking white blooms that transform into bright pink flowers by fall. The Pinky Winky® has stems for days! Thick enough to support those largely colorful flower heads that give off that lovely stunning look. Each flower is slightly cone shaped with a two-toned pink look that will eventually grow up to 16 inches tall! This hydrangea is one of the most interesting looking ones out there!
The beautiful hydrangea we so commonly call Pinky Winky® was discovered as a seedling in an open pollination of Hydrangea paniculata 'Pink Diamond' that occurred in a controlled environment in Melle, Belguim in 1999. Can you say world traveller!
How to use Pinky Winky® Hydrangea in Bulk in the landscape?
Plant these babies somewhere you can really see 'em! An ornamental bush like this one deserves to be seen by many! These fellas are an elegant single specimen or a focal point among the garden beds. When planted in rows with other Hydrangeas you can expect quite the colorful show! The fun doesn't stop there. You can also plant our Pinky Winkys® in containers to decorate any outdoor conversation areas or patios!

How To Plant Pinky Winky® Hydrangea in Bulk
Plant the Pinky Winky® somewhere they can bask in the full sun. They prefer to have moderately consistent moist soil with a mulched bed if you're feelin' fancy! These plants are highly adaptive to most soil types.
How To Water
When watering your Pinky Winky®, regular watering is encouraged, especially when the shrubs are in their first year. Remember to provide sufficient water in the summertime. Once these shrubs have established, they will become more drought tolerant.
How To Fertilize
When feeding the Pinky Winky®, it should take place in early spring. We recommend using our Elements Starter Plant Food.
How To Prune
Prune this baby in either the fall or early spring. Remove any dead wood, lower suckers, and up to half the older top growth.
