Why plant Pinky Winky® Hydrangea?
In a wink the Pinky Winky® Hydrangea will flood your garden with dark pink flower clouds! In the spring, this plant shows off its wonderful looking white blooms that transform into bright pink flowers by fall. The Pinky Winky® has stems for days! Thick enough to support those largely colorful flower heads that give off that lovely stunning look. Each flower is slightly cone shaped with a two-toned pink look that will eventually grow up to 16 inches tall! This hydrangea is one of the most interesting looking ones out there!
The beautiful hydrangea we so commonly call Pinky Winky® was discovered as a seedling in an open pollination of Hydrangea paniculata 'Pink Diamond' that occurred in a controlled environment in Melle, Belguim in 1999. Can you say world traveller!
