Bower & Branch Landscape Design Tip:

Peach blooms love a supporting cast. Keep nearby colors soft and intentional, whites, creams, and deep greens, so the spring display feels elevated instead of busy. A dark evergreen backdrop makes the bloom color look richer, and a simple ring of low shrubs at the base keeps the whole planting looking finished year-round.

Why Plant Powell's Peach Flowering Dogwood?

If classic dogwoods feel like a tradition you love, but you want something a little more special, this one is your answer. In spring, it blooms in soft peachy-pink tones, a rare, warm color that feels gentler than bright pink and more unexpected than white. It’s the kind of bloom that looks especially beautiful in morning light, like the landscape is blushing a little.

After the spring show, it settles into rich green foliage and that signature dogwood branching that always looks graceful, even when the tree is simply being itself. As the season turns, the leaves shift into red to burgundy fall color, and berries add another layer of interest for both you and the local birds. It’s a true four-season performer, just with a more uncommon, collector-worthy spring palette.

How to use Powell's Peach Flowering Dogwood in the landscape?

Plant it where those spring blooms can be enjoyed up close, near an entry walk, along a driveway curve, or framed by front-yard beds. It’s happiest in part shade, especially with morning sun and protection from harsh afternoon heat, making it perfect beneath taller trees or along woodland edges. Use it as a focal point in a foundation planting, pairing it with hydrangeas, azaleas, and evergreen structure plants for a layered look that stays beautiful after bloom. To make the peachy tones stand out, place it near deep green evergreens or darker shrubs, and underplant with white bulbs and soft perennials for a clean, bright spring scene.

Shipping Delays:

From time to time, Bower & Branch Growers may determine to delay order shipment based on various factors for plant health. Weather in your region, as well as, where your plants are grown, is always considered when shipping. Extreme weather conditions may delay some or all of your order. Bower & Branch allows our Growers to make final shipping decisions based solely to benefit your trees and plants’ health and success.

How Does Sizing Work?

The size of our trees have nothing to do with the container size like you may find elsewhere–big doesn't mean just height - it’s also vigor, age, and overall health. Other online retailers are going to tell you that a plant is a seven gallon, that means nothing to your tree or plant (or you.)

Our trees for sale online are graded on large, x-large, and even bigger sizes. This is because our trees are sized by their age—the higher the letter, the more mature the tree. The age determines the trees’ overall height, size of the trunk and the overall branch density.

All of these characteristics are what you should be looking for when choosing a tree for immediate impact and instant curb appeal. Our extra-large tree and plant sizes are sure to wow you and your neighbors!
