I have a 100 foot space along my driveway where I planted Magnolia Judy Zuck then 2 Red Laceleaf Japanese maples in between each tree. It is a magnificent sight in the Spring with the red leaf maples new growth and the bright yellow flowers above. I have never had any insect or disease problem with them. I live 65 miles northwest of San Francisco.
Like all the 20+ trees and shrubs I’ve bought from Bower and Branch over the years, my Niobe Willow arrived in excellent condition, very healthy and lush, and even larger than I’d ordered or expected. In just the first year it filled out nicely and after two full growing seasons has nearly doubled in size - both width and height. I keep it watered deeply 2x a week and mulched a 10’ circle around the base which has helped develop an extensive root system. My only (big) mistake was not protecting the truck over the winter, so the deer did some damage scratching with their antlers but thankfully it was not extensive and so far hasn’t effected the overall health or growth of the tree.

Plants arrived very promptly to my home in CT. The “small” size is 3 gallon buckets and well worth the price. I Planted all 65 trees within a week of delivery. I roughed up the roots with a little garden hand tool rake and also mixed my sandy soil about 50 50 with compost. I’ve watered every day for a couple weeks and Will probably continue to do so throughout the summer. I have no doubt that these trees will withstand the summer and will take off like rockets next spring. Will write another review at a later date!

We’ve been struggling with the raspberry bush with brown spots. Treated it with a combination of water, dish soap and baking soda. I haven’t seen any raspberries yet.
I have treated it with a homemade recipe of dish soap and baking soda. But it doesn’t seem to be doing the trick. We have some blueberries on the bottom of the bush, but the top of the bush seems to be dying.
